Built by engineers who were tired of rescue projects.
Minty Glow exists because too many systems are rescued when they should have been designed. We are the studio that gets the design right the first time.
From failed migrations to first principles
Minty Glow is the technology practice of MINTYGLOW CLEANING LLC, headquartered at 4660 S Aspen Ln in Taylorsville, Utah. The company was founded by systems engineers who spent years inside enterprises watching the same pattern repeat: a rushed purchase, a mismatched integration, a migration that broke reporting for a quarter, and then the expensive call for help.
The name is a deliberate contrast. Our founders came from an organization whose legal identity had nothing to do with computers — a reminder that what a company is called matters far less than what it builds. The practice grew steadily by word of mouth: first designing small internal tools, then full operations platforms, then the architecture and migration programs we lead today. Our work in computer integrated systems design now spans healthcare, logistics, financial services, manufacturing, professional services, and the public sector.
What has not changed is the founding conviction: every system we deliver must be understandable, documented, and owned by the client. If a system only works while we are watching it, we have not finished our job.
Four values, enforced daily
Design before code
We never start building before the architecture is written down, challenged, and approved. A week of design saves months of rework — we have the project histories to prove it.
Client owns everything
Repositories, documentation, credentials, and infrastructure accounts live in your name. No hostage situations, no proprietary lock-in, no knowledge trapped on our laptops.
Boring where it counts
We choose proven, maintainable technology for the core of your business and reserve experimentation for the edges where failure is cheap.
Say the hard thing early
If a plan is unrealistic, a vendor is overpromising, or a budget will not cover the real scope, we say so in week one — not after the contract is signed.
Small teams, senior people, visible progress
Three commitments shape every engagement, regardless of size or sector.
Senior-only staffing
Every person on your project has led production systems before. We do not staff juniors on client work and bill the learning curve.
Weekly working demos
You see running software every week, not slide decks. If progress stalls, you know in days, and we correct course together.
Written decisions
Every significant technical choice is recorded with its alternatives and trade-offs, so future teams understand not just what was built but why.
Rooted in Utah, working everywhere
Our studio sits in Taylorsville, in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley — a region with a deep bench of engineering talent and a cost of doing business that lets us price senior work fairly. We serve clients across the United States through a remote-first operating model, with on-site workshops whenever a whiteboard beats a video call.
Being based in Utah also shapes how we work: practical, straightforward, and allergic to theatrics. We would rather underpromise and overdeliver than the reverse.
